Welcome to the New Jersey Association of Federal Program Administrator’s, NJAFPA, official website for Professional Training, Workshops and Educational Inservice Events. The NJAFPA has been around for over 25 years and is comprised of professional educators from around the state of New Jersey. Members, as well as the Association’s Executive Committee, consist of individuals that have served in areas of administration in major school districts as well as the New Jersey Department of Education. The NJAFPA has prided itself in producing some of the finest educational professional development events, conferences and workshops. Over the years the Association has attracted world renowned, national and state education professionals to speak and present a there Winter and Spring Institutes. These events offer professional educators from teachers, supervisors of curriculum, Title I directors, principals and superintendents of NJ school districts to come together in a vibrant and energetic environment and take back the most up to date information to improve the operation of their school districts. The NJAFPA's 2013 Spring Training Institute, being held at Harrah's Atlantic City, May 29 & 30, 2013. As you have come to expect, our Association is working diligently to secure the best and world-class presenters for this event. Below is information for our Association's two keynote speakers to present May 29th and May 30th, respectively. SPRING TRAINING INSTITUTE, MAY 29, 2013: KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Ms. Charlotte Danielson – Educational Consultant of the Danielson Group

Our Association is proud to announce Ms. Charlotte Danielson, of the Danielson Group, an Educational Consulting Firm, as keynote speaker for day one, May 29, 2013 for the Spring Training Institute. Ms. Danielson will be presenting methods her group has developed for effective teacher evaluation and the elements needed for for a defensible, both professionally and legally, teacher evaluation system. Elements will be defined offering clear standards of practice using a validated instrument, trained and certified evaluators who can make accurate and consistent judgements based on evidence and the active engagement of teachers in the evaluation process.

The NJAFPA is proud to have Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Tracey Severns serve as the keynote speaker for our second day, May 30th, 2013, Spring Training Institute. Dr. Severns plans to share her vision and goals as Chief Academic Officer. Highlights will include how new policy shifts in both federal and state legislation will affect districts in terms of funding, curriculum and other district operations.
